Knowing medical terminology is a great start in the field of medcial transcription and I know that you can type. Of course, there is a great deal more to learn, but you have a great start! Medical Advantage Career Center is more like a family to me and they are right there if I don't understand something. The program is very comprehensive, but fun to learn and it covers all aspects of medical transcription, including half of the course which is transcribing only.
