I'm so totally new to this, I bought holly's book, but how do you create a signature block where the affiliates link is embedded in it? Like you see so often on the right hand side of google search pages.

OK, back to signature: Signatures are those text which are placed at end of post or mail [similar to signatures which you place at the end of a letter or some document]

Now in forum every one is allowed to place there signatures at the end of there post[till now I have not place any but for you I will place one].

for this go to profile then on top you will see edit tab then update your profile and then add your signature.


What you see on Google engine is not signature but sponsored ads.

OK now I don't know whether Holly allow affiliate link in siggy or not but I will give you a way:
let you affiliate link be www.Quark.com and you want to make people look at it

< A href="www.Quark.com"> Welcome to Google employee zone </a>

this will show Welcome to Google employee zone in your signature now if someone clicks this he will be taken to www.Quark.com

yes - those ads on the right side of google are called adwords ads. When you place an ad there, you pay every time someone clicks (I think it starts at 5 cents a click). Those ads would lead to your affiliate link.

But in this forum you can put your affiliate link in your signature and it's free. That's very nice of Holly, as many forums don't allow that anymore.
