Perhaps I can help out somehow and learn here with the rest of the newbies. I've purchased Holly's E-book. Step one. I've placed a few affiliate links relevant to my online radio show in a few places. As banners on my web sites and in my emails. I tried to find a product tied in with the type of entertainment that I provide.
But it's still a bit overwhelming to me if I'm doing everything right. I also do web design, I host sites as reseller and do some graphics work. If anyone has purchased their domain names I would certainly help out to give a few some free web hosting and site help in exchange for some gudiance and direction in this new adventure we are all taking on.
I wish everyone success!
Best Regards Greg

Holy *#$ buddy, that's an awesome site you got going there. I can think of all kinds of things you can monetize that site with. You could sell like classic cd's, biographical books, photo memorabilia. All kinds, allkinds!! I'd be doing some serious searching for some sort of affiliate programs that deal with that type of material. Just my 2 cents worth, but I really thought that was an awesome looking site. I'm not sure what type of search terms you could use for it yet to get your SEO happening, I didn't really read through the whole thing, but some ideas for you maybe, if you hadn't thought of it. Cheers Davin

Hi and welcome, Davin here, just wanted to say hi and welcome. I'm not sure why more people haven't jumped on this yet, but if your looking for real good training, it's Affilorama. It helped me so much, it's unreal. Coupled with Holly's book, and maybe finding some really good list building techniques, and a way you go! Not trying to sell you here, just my experience, have a look anyway, I know it can help you.
Cheers Davin

Careful of anyone who says you make $100 in five minutes. It takes work, especially in the beginning.
For making money without spending anything, you have the following:
make a blog in blogger.com (they allow affiliate links and adsense ads
write articles with reviews of products/books/ebooks, etc (some article sites let you put affiliate links in your article, otherwise you would have to link to your blog and leave the affiliate link in your blog.
post in forums and put your blog in your signature. But be careful, most forums these days will kick you out if they think you are advertising, and they usually have rules against affiliate links in your posts or signatures. Holly's is different, but read the rules and use tact in forums.
If you find a niche subject which you have interest and some knowledge in, this will be much easier for you.
For example, if I would find out that credit-card lamination were a niche, I would have a very hard time promoting it... very boring (if it existed).
You will need something you can chat and write about, especially if you won't spend money.
You can also get Ewisoft's free version of their website builder (it does have a free version now) and have a much more versatile website than blogger. But you would need to pay a few dollars per month on webhosting.
