I'm new and it just seems to easy 2006/11/16 04:34

Hi everyone, I bought Holly's ebook last night and spent last night and all day reading and searching the net. I am far from being a rocket scientist, but after spending the last 12 hours looking and studying this way of making money it just doesn't seem that difficult. Am I missing something?? I knew nothing about making money on the internet until I read Holly's book. I do own my own business but it is refinishing bathtubs and has nothing to do with the internet. Having owned my own business for the last 12 years I'm not afraid of hard work to get a business going. Everthing that I have learned in the last 12 hours has been amazingly interesting in regards to making money on the internet, and if true then I see it as only a matter of knowing and understanding the different concepts (I'll call them resources ie, adsense, Autoresponders, wordtracker etc.) and then applying those resources in the right place at the right time. And of course keeping abreast of any new resources and also any changes in what the existing resources are able to do or no longer able to do. Now add a good dose of creativity to all that and I can't see from what I have read how you can not have a succussfull internet business. Like I said, "It seems to easy" And Holly seems to lay it all out for you. Now having said all that, I haven't tried this business yet so I am probably missing something which is why I haven't jumped in head first quite yet. I will certainly be waiting anxiously for your comments In His grip, Randy

Welcome, Randy!
Yes, in some ways you are right - following the formula is not that hard and Holly has provided a great path to get you there.
The real trick is to pick the right product, service or niche to market to and stick to it. What 90% of us find to be the most difficult part of this path is getting into too many projects at once and not sticking to 1 or 2 main tasks. Also, curbing the desire to get profits quickly. It takes some time and just doesn't happen overnight.
If you pick a niche and start marketing to it as Holly has written you will see results in 4 to 8 weeks.
Good luck!

Welcome! Glad to have you aboard. Easy? Well, I would think that you are no stranger to hard work with the business your in now. A business is a business and requires work no matter what it is. The people that make real money (not me just yet) pay attention to all the details, just like you do in your business. But, it will be a completely different kind of labor.
The great thing is that you have everything you need. Holly's book, which is packed with free resources, and this forum. Everyone here is very helpful.
Again, welcome,
ali

Thanks Don for the tip ie. sticking to two main tasks. I certainly dont want to overload. Ali: Having four young children I'm use to details..LOL
Still reading and going over the details of Holly's book wanting to get more of a grasp on this before I make any decisions. Like I told the Davinator in chat earlier....I'm 44 years old and I have only enough ooomph in me to try one more business venture. And if I'm going to give something all I've got then I better be relatively sure that my effort is going to pay off Randy
