Hello everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well. I don't get a chance to visit this forum as often as I would like, as I am working two jobs as well as trying to build a website(s) that might be able to provide me with a little extra $ in the future. I appreciate all of the help I have received from the folks here in the past.

Anyway, I was just wondering if I could get some advice on my website that I have been working on in my spare time, as time allows. I still have a lot to do and I know I need to add a lot more content. I am planning on adding more recipes and maybe some cooking videos as well as other links related to gourmet foods. If anyone could offer suggestions or advice, positive or negative, I would greatly appreciate it. I still have a lot of work to do on the site but I am really motivated to make it a great site.

Also, I used Brad Callen's free site submitter as well as DigiXMAS (free version) to submit my site to as many places as possible but I was wondering if anyone knows of other places to submit or advertise websites (free or inexpensively). I have a squidoo lens and I plan on using an article submitter in the near future, but I welcome all advice.

I have also been a medical transcriptionist for the 10 years and have a blog on the subject but I am interested in hopefully having a website related to that soon.

I just took a look at your website. First glance opinion...it has a lot of good information. I like that. The layout is just a bit weak. In that, I mean that there is not real consistent flow. The eye does not really flow from one point to another.

Maybe try using some borders and some more headings. That might help. I do like the menu options on the left. And again, there is a lot of information. I will pass this to my wife...she will like it.

I do some adverstising on craigslist, backpage, and oodle. That might help some...but I would recommend these more for beginners. They won't bring you hundreds off visits per day, so it depends on where you are now.
