I haven't started promoting yet as I want to get to know the programs, tools etc first. I am learning about how clickbank works at the moment and can't quite get the idea of hoplinks. Are they automaticaly created for you once you decide to promote an affiliate program or do you have to create them yourself? And finally, can you cloak them?

When you decide which products on the clickbank marketplace that you want to promote, click on "create hoplink". It will ask you for your Clickbank nickname which is the name that you chose when you signed up. If you haven't signed up yet, there is a link in that same box for you to click on and it will take you to where you can sign up. It will give you 2 links. The first link is just the address to "your affiliate page" for that product. The second is the html code that you can use to put in your text. When you use the code, all you will see is "Click here!" the rest will be hidden.

To answer your second question, yes you can cloak your hoplinks.
