OK, let me show you how I submit my articles...

1.) I post the article on my Blog

2.) I bookmark the article on my Blog

3.) I use ISnare to distribute the article (costs between $0.80 and $2 depending on how many credits you purchase).

4.) I also submit the article to EzineArticles

5.) I submit the article in forums that have such an article section

6.) I post the first paragraph including a link to my blog that says "Read More Here" on different social websites like MySpace, Pownce etc.

This is the basic posting process but there are some little tricks that I don't talk about in public (only for upgraded members of my membership sites).

I don't care about duplicate content. The article on my Blog is the original source and all sites are linking to that. So google recognizes that and ranks my Blog higher. The links from the article distribution get recognized by google and sometimes google even lists the other sites with my article. So if you have a niche keyword, then you can rule the complete Top 10 in google.

Great post - as normal Guido,

some great tips. I just wanted to add, that I started using isnare last month and am happy with them. I have also gone back to using submityourarticle.com and am over the moon with them. I use their article leveraging system and make sure that every article submitted to different directories differs.

I aim for it to differ by about 35% minimum, what I find is that when I do this a higher percentage of these articles are listed on google and the other search engines. I also submit separately to ezinearticles and am about to start submitting to buzzle.com.

On top of that I am a member of http://www.ecademy.com and have just started to try and blog or at least reply to blogs and put up articles on a regular basis. Ecademy has a very high ranking in the search engines and articles and blogs on it tend to rank very well. I am fairly certain my articles on ecademy will rank much higher than even my articles on ezinearticles.

I am going to take a couple of your hints and try and implement those as well.
