I need to know the best blogging sites. Are there any that are more easily optimized, better free templates, more room?

I'm enjoying Blogger.com TBH I can't say whether or not it is the "best" but I've found a template that looks great, it's associated with google, am able to add the "gadgets" I've wanted to start with easily.
If anyone else has opinions, would enjoy hearing them!
