Don't know how many of you are aware of this but I figured I'd share it with everybody under the assumption that most are not.

The following is a link to an article about WordPress PlugIns that allow you to add AdSense, Amazon, CafePress, eMiniMall, Text Ads, AdKit24, Tic Tap and Bidvertiser adds to your WordPress blog. Along with this are plugins which allow to you rotate your advertising banners, add a shopping cart, add PayPal donation buttons, and include ads in your feeds. Amongst other things! Included with this are also instructions on how to install and configure these PlugIns. Again, I don't know if this is general knowledge and you're all gonna be like "yeah, AND?" but I was blown away by this. It's a very informative blog this woman posts.

Here is a useful site for all Wordpress users Wordpress Plugin Database. It is basically a directory of plugins available for wordpress.

I found a really useful blog that describes how to implement themes for your blog and how to add plugins. There is also a very handy report on available plugins for wordpress blogs. The report includes social bookmarking, SEO, anti-spam, pictures video and audio inclusion, and many other plugins that will help you optimize your wordpress blog in a few minutes time and attract traffic to your blog.

The report makes it clear that with wordpress it is very easy to modify your blog and have it look and perform exactly as you like it. Blogger may be the better choice if you want quick listing on Google, since Google owns blogger.com.

I haven't seen it posted here yet anywhere, so if it is excuse the repetition. The authority black book is a great resource for all that is 2.0 and setting up wordpress to really rock.
