Do you guys own Holly's book yet?

If so go through the sections on affiliate marketing.

If you haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, then hopefully
you can as soon as possible to help you to understand all of this stuff.

There are literally thousands upon thousands of products you can be promoting.

For now go sign up at a website called Clickbank.

http://www.clickbank.net

Join up, and then browse all the products inside of the site.
Every single product in the site is yours to sell once you set up your affiliate ID with them.

Start with that, browse around a bit.

After you find a product or an idea for some type of website
then come back and ask for some more help.

We can give you some ideas from there.

Just go have a look at Clickbank, and make sure your eyes are open if you don't understand this, but be prepared for some eye candy at every thing you can make money selling online

I had to grin reading your question, because when I started looking online I was looking for data entry or some form of typing etc., that I could do to make extra money. No such luck.

There are a lot of different ways people make money online, or so they say, but you have to figure out which one is right for you. That is the tricky bit. I personally didn't want to have to worry about having my own product to sell and having to distribute it, etc. I certainly liked the idea of the affiliate marketing by advertising other people's products from clickbank, etc, and earning a commission, but I wasn't very successful (read not at all) placing ads for those products in all the free ad sites. Perhaps some people do well with that, but...

I came to the conclusion that, for me, I really needed to build my own site with a steady stream of traffic and then monetize it with adsense and affiliates relating to a specific topic. There seem to be a lot of sites relating to home business and work at home so I decided the competition would be way to fierce. I went with something else I quite love - chocolate.

I have a friend who makes extra income each week by selling things on ebay. That works for her and I would probably go for that too if I lived in the States still, but right now I am enjoying learning all I can about building a content rich website about a particular niche topic. Although I am having difficulty staying off the chocolate.

I truly believe you can make money online, but I would stear clear of any of the get rich quick schemes that are out there in abundance.

Keep doing your research until you find something that just feels right to you (I even prayed and asked the Lord to help me - He did. ).
