Is there any way to add a private message feature to this forum similiar to vbulletin?

Hey guys,
I setup a private messaging feature...you can click on the link in your USER MENU on the left side to use it or else you can click on a user's photo or profile to send one through there. I must go for now but I'd like to put a link to that in a more prominent plac.e..just need to figure out where in the code of this huge site to put it! Any suggestions?
