I was reading the link that Holly ave regarding making a website for free (for a limited time I know) and she recommended going through Bluehost.....I checked them out and seems like a good deal. I may only be able to go month to month right now since my funds are unfortunately tight at the moment so I am not able to sign on for a 12-month plan yet.

Thing is, I am not sure what to use for a domain name....should it be business like? I would really like to be able to take advantage of the free website creation before time runs out...and since I dont have much website creation experience it would be a great way to go.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Start with research.

You need to know Exactly what market your site will be targeting. You need to know what that market is looking for, what you can offer them, and what keywords and phrases your tagrget market are using to search for what you are going to provide.

Once you have all of that, youc should try to select a domain name that uses at least some of the keywords you are going to target.

So, if your site was about, for example, plucking chickens (hey, it's Monday morning, give me a break) you might look to see if pluckingchickens.com was available. Or chickenpluckingtips.com or ... I'll stop now

www.nameboy.com has a good domain name suggestion tool. Just don't buy your domain from them.

Hi Mark, thanks for your reply....one thing I know I like to do and have done was to build my own PC's....I am sure there can be something along those lines somewhere. I am positive that I can come up with some ideas in the computer realm.
