Submission - How to do it best? Help. 2007/08/21 05:01
I've always feel that article and directory submission is one of the most time consuming thing to do. That's why I really need help in this area. What's the best software to use? Is there one that will take care of both so I'll save on only buying one software?

I'm considering SEO Elite. There is a directory submission service included, right?

In Holly's book, she recommended an article submission service. I've heard you should make changes to all your articles before you submit to each directory so each one will be a new article to the SE. How do I do that?

I've read in this forum, time and time again, that it's best to submit to more than 1,000 directories.Again, what software do I use? I'm willing to invest some money, but I'm not rich yet, so I'll appreciate it if anyone can recommend ways to solve my problems with a one time investment of less than $100, if possible.
Thanks, guys!

p.s. I've finally made my first affiliate sale of Honest Riches by article marketing. Really exciting. Holly's stuffs really works, I'm happy to recommend it.

Yes Isaac, I have your answer!

SEO Elite itself doesn't incorporate a article submitter, unless the newest version incorporates it, and it is really one of the reason that I always favored IBP over it.

But here is the thing, SEO Elite comes in at $167, and IBP comes in at around $239 or something like that. But I still have an answer for you here.

When I was a member of Affilorama, we used to use a software called Traffic Travis, and it pretty much did everything that SEO Elite does for a better price. One sec, I go check... $99.95

Traffic Travis

I've been using Brad Callens brand new Article Submitter lately, and it's FREE for for up to 85 different article directories, and I definitely recommended it. It's the easiest one to use I've worked with yet. I've been using the full version but you wouldn't have to upgrade ever if you didn't want. To be honest I rarely get past 85 article directories with any article!

So I hope that helps, it would put you in right at 100.00. Like I say for your budget, it would get the job done for you, both the SEO software and Brads new submitter which is awesome.

Hope that helps

I just bought SEOElite and am trying now to learn how to use it . It says it has an Article Submitter on the website :

"Automated article submission allows you to submit an unlimited number of articles to article directories with a few mouse clicks!"
"Over 60 pre-populated articles directories for you to submit your website to!"
"No limit to the number of articles you can add and submit with SEO Elite!"

Check it out for yourself to be sure though.

I haven't gotten that far yet, I'm still on the first part of the many videos.

What I did since I am a clickbank member was bought the software through my affiliate link and got an affiliate sale of $99.76 making the software $67.24 . I wasn't sure if you were allowed to do that so I checked the clickbank FAQ, this is what I found:

25. Can I purchase products through my own hoplink?

"The short answer is yes, but ClickBank does not condone affiliates using their accounts for this sole purpose. As stated in our Accounting Policy, "ClickBank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others." That is, affiliates should not be using their own hoplinks to purchase products for themselves and then collect a "rebate" check from ClickBank."

"Unless an account contains sales from made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard, our system will not generate a check for that account (even if the balance has met or exceeded the payment preference). PayPal and eCheck purchases do not count toward the minimum."

So, if you've made any clickbank sales, you might want to go this route.

Good luck,
Kathy

Thanks so much, Davin and Kathy. That was great help. I'll be trying Davin's way of using Travis traffic and article submitter right away, then I'll consider investing a little bit more for the SEO Elite later, cause it's also highly recommended by Holly.

Thanks again, guys!
