So many people I talk to or chat with online are totally overwhelmed when you mention SEO to them. It seems like they want to run in the opposite direction. It is not SCARY! It is also not as overwhelmingly difficult - if you apply the techniques to a niche site to start, then you will see that it works and gain confidence enough to repeat the same steps in a site that might have a lot more competition (which should make you more revenue as well).

Two simple things which makes SEO as simple as ABC, are you confident about the content and how many times your Keywords appear in it [Have to be h1 (big headline)] and always remember to add title, google stats shows since Firefox and other browsers are not having 'alt' support and some day IE will also leave it, giving title to page and its content will be used more by people (clearly shows that Google is now taking title as a parameter to know the relevant page).

Most of the leading SEO "masters" agree that that the top signals that influence a page's rankings in the search engines include:

Keywords in the title tag.
Keywords in links pointing to the page.
Keywords appearing in visible text (a.k.a. anchor texts).
Link popularity (PageRank for Google) of the page.

Actually the book that linked from your site, when I first discovered you and your book Holly, Brad Callen's SEO Made Easy was the book that I really learned a lot from. And your right, it's not quite as intimidating as it first sounds. I guess I will find out when my site is published, lol, as to how well I've learned it, but I do feel that I gained a pretty good understanding of it. Another set back in my site being published for a couple of weeks, aaaaaaarrrggg, I'm getting tired of setbacks, usually financial, hmmm, wonder why I want a successful online business right. I want to pay for a year in advance, so I can just know it's paid for, for that amount of time. I think I'm buying to many things online lately to make the business successfuly once I publish, keeps eating up my publishing cash. Some sort of sick self sabotage!! Oh well 2 more weeks won't kill me I guess. Give me some time to add some more articles and what not. thanx Davin
