Welcome to the forum. Try not to panic - as time passes everything will become clearer and clearer. Whenever I learn new programs or design techniques (I like learning about web design) I feel the same way. It is confusing and overwhelming. Just dont give up. Ask us for help when you need it. For now, I'd start doing research and really thinking about
1. What your interests are (not usually my top priority when doing research, but it is impt to keep you pushing fwd with what you are doing)
2. (most importantly) what is PROFITABLE and POPULAR now. Holly is right,what is popular now,but may I add what is popular in the future too ?
There are so many avenues in NM it is confusing where to start,but I find the easiest way to start is to teach people,and as you are a teacher you have a head start ! You understand you teach your students,then they go out and teach others ie their children etc this is what NM is,teach teach and learn.
