blogger and wordpress completly FREE? 2008/07/30 15:05

I'm a little confused there, in e-book says it's a free way to make a website. But then it said you can leave the way it is or purchase you own domain name and foward it, in that case you won't have to pay for site hosting. So if you don't purchase domain name you will have to pay for hosting? Then it says in order to optimize that site you will need a separate hosting. So what if you don't get separate hosting, will it still be online and live? So basicly the question is, do I have to purchase a domain name and hosting for this kind of sites in order for them to function properly?

No, you do not have to pay for hosting or a domain name if you don't want to.

Yes, it will still be live but you won't be able to have control of how it's optimized for the search engines.
So basicly the question is, do I have to purchase a domain name and hosting for this kind of sites in order for them to function properly?
No, it will function fine. The difference is, when you use your own domain name and hosting, you have total control over the site. How it's optimized, the way you choose to monetize it...everything.
Hope that helps, Kathy
