Affiliate networks 2008/07/30 15:22
Is it important to sign up with the same affiliate network, when you sign up with bunch of different companies? How is this gonna affect me?

Some companies are members of the same affiliate network, so it makes sense to join through that network to keep your commissions all in one place and easier to manage.

On the other hand, there are companies you may want to affiliate with that are not part of that network. Don't let that keep you from joining them. Just keep track of who you are promoting and where you log in to view your tracking stats, etc.

After awhile, I have to admit that it is easy to lose track of all of your affiliations as you grow your business online and branch out into different fields. Good record keeping on your part helps.

Angie

Angie - would you say that any one is better than the other...After reading about both Affiliate Networks and Independent program it looks to me like they both pretty much even themselves out...Especially with the help from the Affiliate management site given in Holly's book. So I guess what I'm asking is which would be the best to start out with initially if the funds I have are super super limited? Does that make sense?
