I've created a Clickbank account....now what?? 2007/03/15 22:26
Hi there,

I'm having some troubles getting started. Read Holly's e-book today and have to admit it was way over my head. So I'm diving in and seeing what happens. My first step was create a Clickbank account. Now what do I do? I don't have a personal website to add the products I'm choosing to promote. So where do I post the hoplink it gave me? I'm in need of some step by step instructions as to where do I go now??

Thanks!!!
Jennifer

Hi, Boardwalk, In Holly's e-book chap 4:Making Money without a Website ,I would read it carefully through and then also notice chap 3:Research is Key/ Brainstorming ideas....Page 23 Writing Product reviews-finding out what is hot for selling via a website called CBEngine. We can have the e-book open and go to that page, click i.e. Visit CBEngine; but you probably already knew that. I'm in process of checking these sites out right now and do know what it is to not have familiarity with just about anything, but take your time and fit it together in part as well as in whole. There are other higher integrity Systems out there and you can ask me of the two I know of. [Oh!It seemed like she mentioned places where they can set you up with your own website; some free-some not]

Hi Jennifer. Your next step is to decide which of Clickbank's thousands of products you are going to promote. This is the hard bit. You need to find a product that's in demand but hasn't got a ton of competition out there.

Somewhere like CBEngine.com can give you some pointers as to what's hot, what's new and what commissions are being paid on all the Clickbank products.

Once you have your product(s) you must then decide how to promote. Are you going to write some articles around this product or niche. If you do you will put your Clickbank affiliate link in the signature section ( which is separate from the article but is the only bit where you are normally allowed links by the article sites ) Holly's book shows you the article sites to submit to.

It can be a week or two before you see results from articles and you need to submit probably a good half dozen to standa chance of them getting picked up by other sites and spread around.

Perhaps you will write some ads and submit them to Craiglist or USFreeAds.

Or maybe create a blog on Blogger or Wordpress and write about your product and place your Clickbank link on your Blog.

All the above are free activities to get you started. Holly's book does no cost and low cost really well.

Another great way to promote at the moment is Squidoo. Create a squidoo lens ( their name for a long single web page ) around your product. Google likes Squidoo. Take a look at what people are doing with their lenses. ( you can even visit mine if you like )

Hope that helps

Graham

Squidoo.com

Great place to write articles about a subject and insert affiliate links.

Do like the others have said and read the section about making money with no website.
