2007 is The Year! 2007/01/16 22:07
Hi everyone -

I'm tremendously excited by the possibilities of 2007, now that I've got Holly's eBook and this forum!

My goals for 2007 are:

1. To teach at least 10,000 people to publish their own printed books at very low cost. I'll be doing this with my new website www.ipubfasttrack.com and my eBooks which I'm publishing. I'll also be conducting teleseminars and live workshops for how to do this. With the new technologies available and some of the Great(!) open-source software that's available, it's really, truly possible!

2. To convert (most of) my printed books (over 15 of them, by now) to eBooks and sell them online by myself and through affiliates. Some of the books do not lend themselves well to ebook format, but some of them do! I'll be "leveraging my existing assets" to cover digital and audio, in addition to print.

3. To expand my podcasting site www.podtopia.net and develop the existing relationships with the clients I already have, and teach people how effective podcasting can be for promotion and marketing.

4. To complete my newsletter/correspondence course "Getting Ready to Be Rich" for college students and others who are on the road to riches, but who aren't aware of the pitfalls (mostly psychological and social) that face them in the financial services industry. As a veteran of financial services, I've seen a lot of the tricks and techniques that are used to rope innocent and well-meaning people into the kinds of decisions that line the pockets of people who claim to "help" them, but who are really just in it for their own benefit.

5. To develop a realistic and do-able production schedule for my writing and publishing and podcasting, and not get too scattered in my work. I really need to focus my efforts on making the most of one project at a time, while wringing as much efficiency out of myself as I can... so that's one of my BIG goals, this year.

There are others, of course, but these are my "heavy hitters" for 2007. Onward and upward!!!
