Add me Link Cloaking Confusion 2008/03/21 10:57
Hello,

It's been a frustrating day for me.

I attempted to cloak my first link today and afterwards was given:

1)Result
Link code to copy: (which looked like)

888888888888888************************************************************************************* **************************************************************************************************** ***********

2) It will look like:

Grocery Shopping since 1922

When I click on the new link "Grocery Shopping since 1922" it does not take me to the site that I am a new affiliate with...in fact it does not take me to any site.

The Link code to copy----do I need to do anything with that?

I've tried to e mail me the add me people but when I do my screen goes blank and nothing happens.

Help or advice would be most appreciated. Thanks, Link

I disable my website link on purpose within the forum. I don't like it getting sucked into search engines per privacy issues/concerns. I want my entries herein to be primarily within the HR community.

Also, lets say I want to advertise in a forum and I paste in the code add me link cloaker gave me---it does not transform into the easy to read and cloaked blue link I was given but instead it all stays in code, even the new blue easy to read cloaked link it gives me---when I clicked on it on the add me site right after it was given to me, it does not take me to any site??

Is there anyone who would be willing to walk me thru my first one on the add me site---I have my first affiliate link in hand.

Thanks, Link
