I'm a bit embarassed to ask this, but here goes. I recently joined the Honest Marketing Movement. It's just a baby blog, but I really want it to be great someday.

I posted about AddMe link cloaker and someone asked me if it bothered me that my affiliate id showed up in the destination url. I have been trying to learn so much in the past few months that to be honest with you I did not even notice that.

She asked me if it bothered me and it does. I recommended Holly's and then looked into it a bit more myself. I learned that you need to download it onto your server. That's fine, but what do I do to cloak links on Squidoo? Do more professional link cloakers show the affiliate id in the destination url? I haven't had good enough internet reception to be able to download mine to try it yet.

There is still so much for me to learn. Help me please, I need some clarification on this.
