Joel Comm's Adsense eBook 2007/01/02 22:40
Anyone know anything about Joel Comm's "AdSense Secrets" ebook? Sounds pretty impressive, but then again, don't they all in their sales page? Just wondering if anyone's read it and can recommend it or not since I was thinking of taking a chance on it. (I get the feeling there's a lot to learn about AdSense!)

Thanks!

It's not bad, I bought it, and I suppose I got a few nuggets from it.

Am I any the richer for having bought it - No. Like I've read on boards over and over again surf around, visit forums like this and you'll pick up the cash.

A tip though if you are going to buy - register yourself as an affiliate first and buy via your own link

Kevin.

ps take a look at the site in my signature most of these were built using Joels suggestions.

Thanks Kevin,
I appreciate your feedback on that, and especially for pointing me to your own site. Looks like a textbook example of how to do it right - you can hardly tell the ads from the rest of the links. And yes, I've never done it yet, but I suppose there's no problem with using your own ClickBank ID if you want to order something through it, so that's a good tip too.

I am rehashing an old post here, but I did take the time to use joel comms book and re-do my main site completely. a lot of new content and pages, reworked adsense placement etc.my page views have improved, but to early yet to see any click ratio change. I added a free sitepal character too and we will see if that helps.next will be the new youtube addition to the site. try my main site and see the improvements, ...dont laugh at the sitepal. yep, thats me talkin...lol

I have also bought the book and have to be honest did get a few tips I use from it so I cannot complain too loudly, but there were a lot of steps and pictures dealing with Word Press that need to be updated.

To be fair to Joel, I just don't get it when it comes to Word Press though I know many people use it...I find Blogger to be very simple and since Google owns them they optimize my sites quickly.

I also found another program I think is far superior to Google AdSense because I can generate my own adblocks using any Clickbank or Pay-dot-com ads of my own choosing or create my own ads using my affiliate marketing pages or websites. Even better, you get 100% commission from selling the standard program and payments go straight into your PayPal account.

I don't want to be spamming anyone ever, let alone on a forum I am new on so if your interested in hearing about this advertising program which costs an entire $7 and comes with video tutorials for technically challenged individuals like me let me know and I'll share it with you.
