What did you learn recently? Share It! 2008/11/02 03:32
Have you learned anything today? Or this week? Had a breakthrough or an "I get it" moment?

Why not share it here! You never know who you might inspire!

Today: After reviewing my Google Analytics, I realized the importance of making my link titles "say" something. No more passive or generic "click here" links...instead, plug in those keywords for the link titles.

Anyone else? This could be fun to keep it going!

Hi Annie,

I've tried to reply to this post twice and the site has gone down both times. So, third time lucky...

Keywords in links is a biggie!

I'm working my way through Russell Brunson's $100 Million Challenge at the moment. And had a lightbulb moment when he described how to get your target market to basically tell you what product they need from you and what it should contain.

I've had an idea for a product for a year with no real idea of what to cover in it. It took me 20 minutes to set up Russell's solution and now, 24 hours later I have almost a complete outline, written by the people who are eager to buy it!

Such a simple idea.

Mark, that's great! It really is exciting when clarity presents itself, especially when you have an idea but not a direction.

Perhaps as we all come across products or sites that help us, when they are posted about here, it could become a "clearinghouse" for people to browse!

And shoes, I'm glad you found our forum, but instead of selling to us, please share something from your experience and knowledge so that you can contribute, and we can learn.

Until next time...
Annie

Well, I made a move to get over my fear of selling my original content-I never felt like it was good enough, but I recently wrote some PLR articles and sold them on another forum. Nerve wracking, but gratifying.

I'm also slowly redesigning how I work-I'm finally developing a strategy that works for me.

Regards,
Kevin

I learned how to social bookmark today. Had no idea what I was doing. Set it up to remember what I had purchased in the past few years and other things I wanted to promote.

Then found out WHY THEY CALL IT SOCIAL BOOKMARKING - in case you didn't know it's because other people can see it.

This is mine: http://delicious.com/keeperbaydotcom
I only got 7 things in there, but it's a start right.
You are suppose to bookmark all your sites - right?
Well, I made my ID my domain! (Well, one of several domains)

Off topic, I also learned I'm not pregnant (woo hoo) and that super glue will hold your fingernails together indefinitely - good on both counts
