Well, I just bought the ebook. Still trying to wrap my head around everything and plot out a course of action, but while I'm doing that, I have some rough ideas for niches that I need to know if they're workable.

Four of my passions are writing, comic books, comic book art, and collectibles. Specifically, I'd like to find specialized approaches to one or more of these to use as my starting point. I'm leaning more toward writing/screenwriting at the moment, and took a look at Keyword Discovery, but there seems to be a lack of searches for the writing keywords that came up. I just have to ask...and any of these ideas feasible niches, or should I look elsewhere for an idea?

Well, I've never done the keyword research on it, but, how deep and in depth did you go into your keyword research.

While there may not look like there are many searches off the cuff, if you look at all the long tail search terms when digging deep this may add up to a lot of searches per month etc.

If you can build many pages optimizing for these lower searched, but easier to rank for terms it could be a valid little niche, or perhaps big.

Make sure you also check out the competition as well.

One way to give you a little better idea of whether their would be money to be made in such niches is to look at how many Google Adwords are showing up to the right of organic searches.

If there are say 8 to 10 ads to the right which people are paying to place, there is a good chance that money is being made!!

Any tips you can give on how best to go about doing this? I've never looked up keywords/niches until tonight, and I'm feeling kind of out of my element. I could use a good shove in the right direction.
