I just created a Blogger account.I don't have any products to sell and I didn't know what to put in my blog, so I just posted a few pictures of my pet crayfishes. I'm assuming the next step is to sign up with Clickbank and begin sponsoring any product that I feel has anything to do with crayfish, then link them to my crayfish blog site? Is this the next step - or what? Someone please help!!

Hi! I am a newbie too, but I'll try to help. First, put your blog address here so that people can see it and they may have more to say to help you. Next, it seems like you have the right idea, but I don't know that you will find a product specific to crayfish. But if you don't - did you look at wordtracker (free) for searches on crayfish? Is there a demand? Even if there isn't - you still will do OK if you broaden your topic just a little. Say, unusual pets, or 'easy to take care of pets' - I did a wordtracker search a while back and it seemed there was demand for pet information - so keep going. People do respond to pictures, so that part is good. You will be able to write about crayfish and why they are great pets. Then you can look up some other related stuff and start commenting on that. Put your blog address here and tell us what happened with the wordtracker.

I've only just started using blogs in an effort to gain prospects. What I like about them is that they are free and I don't mind 'playing' with them. I just try to write something everyday. I feel that it doesn't have to be long, just a thought on the subject. Short and often is preferable to lengthy articles with long gaps of time between.

The idea is to get your blog out there to people as often as possible. That way you have more chances of collecting more readers.

With your blog I would write snippets of interesting information each day - it will soon build into something substantial. You will also find out whether anyone is coming to look and this will help you to decide to have a standard web site on your subject.

I set up a couple of blogger sites. I have one that is a passion of mine: http://easyrenovations.blogspot.com and others that are purely for advertising my clickbank products. Use the word tracker to find a good niche for yourself and you will begin to see results.

Looking very good! Pictures are the best for any site. Hmm... I wonder if you could use your crayfish to help promote a product? Something like Pumpkin Pie recommends _____________. Just a thought.
