Greetings everyone.

I have had a few people ask me how I do so well in the search engines with such high ranking keywords,tags etc.

Through trial and error I discover new ways all the time.

I am trialling ways of gaining rank without SEO.

The following tip has been around for ages but not many people know about it. I also use this to help with all my Squidoo Lens Rankings. Google really has some powerful features.

My home page used to be set as:

http://www.google.com

but then I discovered GoogleLabs:
http://labs.google.com/

After playing around with everything I then set my home page to the following:

http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en

Each time you enter a word you will see a drop down window showing other keywords and phrases along with search results.

This is a good way of comparing hits to other websites etc.

You will also see in the top left corner:
Web Images Video News Maps Gmail more ▼

Under the more ▼ button you will find other interesting features.
I like the Blogger and Blog Search sections.

You get a good idea where you are within the various fields and topics.

The following is an example of keyword search, testing out various TAGS and combinations.

This was done over a 2 day period.

As you can see there are some very interesting numbers.

First off I...TAG my name craig peri because I sign all articles etc with my name. I also make sure I reverse the TAG to peri craig as well.

Also good to add your site as well.

ie; Entrepreneur LifeStyles + LifeStyles Entrepreneur.

This helps gather everything into a common TAG.

As you can see there are so many variations to explore and play with. One simple TAG or phrase can make a huge difference to how
you are circulated throughout the internet.

With Squidoo you can chop and change TAGS which allow me to experiment along with Google Algorithms and formulas.

What More Can I Give was not showing up on Google within the first 10 pages so this led to experimenting with keywords, tags, etc.

As you can see I am now showing on Page 5 within the Google Search Engine for such a huge number. I know numbers fluctuate...but they do climb over time. Some faster than others.

My latest project is the billion hit search for something I will share later. Anyone else good at mathematics then get back to me on this one.
