Hi - I was wondering if we could have a thread dedicated to our successful methods of getting traffic to our sites.

I know of these:

Manual Article Submissions
Manual Directory Submissions
Forums where applicable
Press Releases (though I haven't done it yet ...)

Now ... am I missing anything important? Anyone can add advice or notes on successful actions they have done that helped get lots of traffic to their sites?

Just talking about raw traffic, ie, visits and page views. Thanks!

I just wanted to add three more methods that I used successfully when I was actively running my blog.

1) Posting comments of blog articles. Many of the blogs out there allow you write in hyperlinks. Use this to direct to your website or affilate site

2) Post reviews of books on Amazon and other online book and video sellers.

and lastly;

3) So of the article sites allow you to post comments and reviews of the articles that are their sites.

These steps probabaly will not send you alot of visitors but it send a few...and its freeeeee!
