I'm wondering if someone can help me... I am just getting started and have a few good (I think) ideas and am wanting to start a Wordpress blog.

I have web space available through my ISP. Is it possible to use Wordpress with it? I downloaded the Wordpress stuff and apparently I need some kind of program to use it (PHP) and I don't know how to use it or where to download it from.

I consider myself pretty computer literate but have no knowledge of PHP.. can do flash, html, etc though...

Any help or suggestions on which direction to move forward in?

Maybe I should have a different venue than wordpress???

SO do you actually have website hosting that you have purchased? And, a domain name as well? If so, then you can definitely use Wordpress. Many webhosting companies have a one-click install service (so you just follow the directions and wordpress will be installed within minutes). Even if you do not have that, it is easy to setup (and i also offer a service at: www.cheekyo.com to do it for free).
