I read the book. Im trying to learn where and how to start with affiliate programs? I need advice,guidence and the help and info to begin with this. I appreciate any and all help.

Hi Newbie,

I haven't read a lot of Holly's book, but in skimming it I noticed that she had step-by-step instructions. I also found the http://www.wikipedia.org verry useful ... especially to learn some of the e-commerce vocabulary, such as; key-words and site traffic, adsense,blogging, RSS feeds ... like that.

A lot of newcomers to affiliate marketing fail to do one thing: take action! You can learn and study and analyze for years before you "feel" ready to do something.

Many people that are new take this route: Do some research on affiliate programs you'd be interested in, preferably along the same line (like children's clothes). Set up a blog. Write about products available, and use your affiliate link in the blog post.
