Has anybody had dealings with or heard of a site called turnkeywebsites.com, they let you build a site using templates they provide and you just add the content.

I've not heard of them. I'm building a new site right now with SiteBuildIt! I guess it works kind of along the same lines. It's hosting, a domain name, wordtracker and autoresponders. It walks you step by step through the process of building your own website. You don't need to know html with this either. It's $299 for a year but that includes everything!

Good luck,
Kathy

Hi Michael,

Happywife (Angie) on this forum actually recommended them to me, I believe she has built 3 sites using them. I'm extremely happy so far. I've not started to monetize my site yet. Quite a few people have ecommerce sites through them. You can find out more by clicking this link:

Good luck,
Kathy

Sitebuiltit! can be very good, especially for us noobs. But it is very techincal.

Also, I had tried them and like it, except that there customer service is not very good. If you try to get your questions answered on the forums, the answers will be very techincal.

I for one could not keep up.

Other than, your really can monetize the site all that well for adsense. it is alright for affilitates however.

Anyway that is my opinion

Actually, SiteBuildIt (SBI) isn't really technical unless you want it to be. The system is very simple and laid out step by step. All you have to do is be sure to follow the instructions and not try to race ahead farther than you are. Skipping steps, etc., leads to either failure or much slower progress.

The customer service is not the same as the forums. I have always found the customer service to be fantastic. They always get back to me within 24 hours.

The forum is the icing on the cake. The users are more than happy to help each other out with matters both technical (if you want to go that route) or simple if you are just new to IM and are still learning the ropes.

I never could have gotten as far as I have without landing with SBI.

Adsense income will vary depending on your site concept. The idea is to build traffic first then start to monetize with Adsense being one of the options. Yes, affiliates work well, or your own products or services, etc. There is almost no limit to what you can implement, especially with SBI's newest feature Infinit. It allows you to "plug-in" almost anything you want to your established site.

Jae - if you have SBI, what site are you building with it? How far along are you? I wonder if you have gone through the Action Guide carefully, etc., because it sounds like you don't really have a very good understanding of how it works. However, don't give up. It really does work if you stick with it and follow the steps one at a time.

All the best everyone!
