I know this is for goals, but I didn't know where else to put this. I am literally sitting here crying. I really thought I could do this. I want so badly to do this for my family but I am so confused. I try to follow step by step, but I keep getting stuck or discouraged. The past few nights when I put my into bed I kept thinking I can do this, I need to do this, I want to do this for my kids. I want to make life better for all of us. My husband works so hard. I want to help. We live week to week, there is always something going wrong to keep us from saving any money. The one website I do have, I had to purchase with our credit card and have not made any money to recover. My husband doesn't understand why and makes me feel guilty when he asks if I made any money yet and I tell him no.

I wanted to write articles to get started, but I can't purchase more than half the stuff that I am interested in and I would feel guilty writing about something I haven't purchased. I already spent money on two other products besides Holly's book and feel incredibly guilty about it.(not Holly's book, I am glad I purchased it)

I get all of these ideas, and then, I am stuck, where do I start. I cannot afford another SBI site right now and I want to try Holly's free site, but SBI walked me through everything building my other site, will wordpress be close to the same thing? Can I follow it as easy? See I have so many worries now when two days ago I was so excited and couldn't wait. It sounded easy enough for me to do, but now I am not so sure. I guess I am having a major melt down. I don't know what to do. Try to move forward or just stop now.

Thanks for listening and sorry for the feeling down post. I didn't know where else or who else to talk about it. I certainly can't tell my husband, He was so excited when i told him I wanted to do this. I fear I am going to let him down, and my children too.

Jenn...I think I speak for all of us, but especially myself, that I have felt and am feeling the same worries that you are right now.

Some of us are stronger than others.

I live almost 40 years now, and have failed (or so they say) at everything. Yet I still soldier on. We all soldier on.

I think what you should do is right down every idea you have. Write down every dream and goal you want to achieve. Make a poster or some other visual aid and out it on your bedroom wall or on the fridge. Somewhere where you'll see it everyday. Do this to keep those goals and dreams and ideas clearly in front of you. Focus on the future not the right now.

After doing that, choose one of the lesser goals and/or ideas that you have and work on that until you have achieve success, then move onto the next one, and so on and so on.

That is what I am doing. I beleive if you asked anyone person that was successful that is what they did. From what I read about Holly she did that as well.

Stick with something, become very good at it then you'll become a success.

Please don't lose heart on this - we all know how hard it is. One thing to remember is that it does take time. I want you to know, however, that you can do this almost entirely with free tools (except Holly's book, of course).

Next, if you choice is only to be an affiliate then my suggestion is to use Blogger as your hosting. It is free, has templates and is very easy to use. Look at how I became Holly's affiliate using this:

Using the techniques in her ebook I was able to get this site to top ten in Google for "Holly Mann", "Honest Riches", "Rich Jerk". I get paid Adsense dollars and have sold hundreds of copies of her book. I didn't pay one penny for this site!

I have one of Holly's free websites built with wordpress and I also have a SiteBuildIt! site that I am working on. They are two totally different things.

Holly's site was my first. Pipelinebooks for all your ebooks and software! I knew nothing about html or building a website but with the help of the good people on this forum, I was able to get it up. I struggle with SEO though so it's not doing as well as I'd like. SiteBuildIt! is definately a lot easier.

If you don't mind me asking, Do you still have your SBI! site? If so, maybe we could have a look at it and give you a few pointers.

If you don't have money to invest, try building some squidoo lenses. I've had some success with those and they are free.
Sign up with commission junction and start promoting some of those products. Unlike ebooks and software, you don't need to buy anything to be able to find something you can promote. You will need a website to sign up but a squidoo lens or blog will do.

Just to get some money come in though, have you thought about signing up for something like PayPerPost where they pay you to blog? You will need to set up a blog and post to it for something like 3 months and 20 something posts before you can start making money. That too is free and won't take up too much of your time. I think some people are making $700 a month doing it which isn't a lot but at least it's something. And, it will give you some breathing room so you can concentrate on making real money!

Thank you for your reply Jaebird and Don James, I think I was just so overwhelmed with it all. I still am, but I took a break and focused on making 3d models for my existing website and I felt a bit better. I am going to read your ebook Don and check out your sites. I have to help a friend out this weekend working at a local Market so maybe getting away form the internet for a few days and thinking about ideas more thoroughly will help. Part of my problem is I have so many ideas, where do I start. Plus the whole purchasing things to right reviews and promote them. I do not think I should try those until I have the extra money to do them. I did start a blog, which I have no clue about blogs. But hey it is a start right lol. http://mywahmblog-jenn.blogspot.com/ Maybe once I get the hang of it I will start one that I can actually make money with. Thank you so much for posting. I think I needed a little push. I am still scared to death, oh and I should have mentioned. I am a very shy and quite person. That probably doesn't help much. I want to jump right in, but I am afraid at the same time.

Kathy, I just read your post while posting this one Thank you for posting, you have some wonderful ideas that I wasn't aware of. maybe they could get me started. Yes I still have my SBI site. It is only 3 months old, and I think I have hit that *waiting to get over the hump* part. I just added Google ads and lets see I have had them up for two weeks and made a total of $1.27 My website link is in my sig. If you type in new textures in Google I am # 6 on the first page, I have 40 pages out of 157 ranking 10 and under, many of them are under 5. These numbers all look good, but I don't see any real profit from them and I think that is why I am frustrated. I know it takes time. That is why I thought I would explore other ideas I could do while waiting for my site to grow more traffic

I just was reading all of these threads on your post.

Please don't worry, three months is hardly anytime to give it. Your just getting started! If I had a dollar for every time I felt the way you were, hell I would have been wealthy long ago.

I actually completely scrapped everything at one point Jenn, and completely started over. Just keep persevering and eventually things will come together. It takes time, perseverance, and a willingness to not be beat and continue pushing forward.

One thing I did notice looking at your site. How else are you monitizing it other than Adsense. It seems you have a great knowledge on textures and designs. Perhaps you could write an ebook on that and also sell it from your site?

Also, I'd like to suggest that you don't just wait for traffic. Keep working on your traffic by building more links, perhaps looking at some Web 2.0 strategies etc. I shared a few resources with Kathy a while back, perhaps she will share them with you as well.
