Getting E mails from Craig's List per $$ 2008/08/25 23:08

Hello,
I've been getting some e mails about making money from Craig's List. Profit from Craig's List. They want something like $1.98 to send me software. Does anyone have any experience with this?
The e mail address is: craigstlist@ALLOWAYCORP.COM
Thanks very much,

Hi Link,
Haven't heard of the Craig's list one, but I suspect it's just someone trying to make a buck (okay, $2) by telling people how to post ads on Craig's list. They are probably getting plenty of takers, too, because they are only asking a small amount. I doubt it will be anything new that you can't already get for free by reading the various posts about using Craigslist.
As far as the rebate processing is concerned, I'd stay away from that. I checked into that when I first started looking for something to do online. It's a rip off - at least the couple I investigated were. I haven't heard of any legit ones from any reliable sources.
They claim you'll make so much money just by filling out these simple forms each day (a very unrealistic amount of money, too) but when you actually pay for the program, it is nothing as described. It's been a couple of years, and I can't remember all of the details, but it was a waste of time and money, to be sure.
I think it's best to stick with building up your own online business. It takes a while to get over thinking one of these easy money programs really works since they all sound so promising, but the sooner you do, the better. It leaves you more time to spend doing what does work.
Blessings, Angie

Hi Linda, Pleased to meet you. Thanks for the kind words about my site. I'm glad if it is an encouragement to you. I couldn't leave out the most important insurance, now could I? I hope you'll enjoy the books. It's a lot of reading, but good stuff! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via my site. I don't usually get notification of private messages from this forum for some reason. I think it's a glitch. Blessings, Angie

Angie,
Thank you!
I'll stay from the rebate processing stuff.
Per Craig's List, I already know how to post stuff there for sale, etc. Also, Craig's list expressly forbids stuff like affiliate marketing etc. So, I think I'll avoid this one too.
I'm discovering that I agree with you per focusing on the essentials and forgetting about all the other things out there...great advice! I should focus primarily on my site and the few non site things I'm working on (all from Honest Riches) and don't get too involved other things like data processing, rebate processing, surveys, etc.
Thanks again, Link
