How I'm funding my IM startup expenses 2008/08/28 08:26
I decided to approach my internet marketing business with the idea of doing it slowly, and funding it along the way with it's own money. Since I'm not looking to "get rich quick", but to build quality income streams, I'm taking my time and having fun along the way.

After doing research, I decided a safe way to create a little income was paid surveys. I know, many say you can't make money this way. Well I say, you will not get rich, but you can make enough money to fund your startup expenses, such as purchasing Internet Marketing "how to" information, domain names, and if needed for IRL advertising, such as business cards.

Now I am fortunate enough to have the funds to pay for these things out of pocket, but my goal is to "pay myself back" for the expenditures as I go. In my effort to "keep it real" throughout the day I try to complete $3 worth of surveys, made up of 1 high value survey/offer, and the rest mid to low value. (Increases the chance of survey/offer being accepted and credited). Oh, and I only do the FREE surveys. (I'm there to make money, not spend it! )I looked over several survey sites, joined a few, and decided to focus on just one.

Think of it this way: If you complete $1 - $3 worth of surveys a day for 30 days, you have made $30-$90 dollars for the month. It's not difficult and by pacing it through the day I don't spend too much time.

It feels good to see money in my payment account. Knowing I'm doing something is allowing me to focus on learning all I can as I go, without jumping the gun and really starting bigger things before I'm ready. If you think this is something you could benefit from, or would even just enjoy, the information link is in my signature!

All the best!

Good for you. I've made a few bucks with surveys, but not enough to make it a full time thing. I still do a couple now and then for light relief.

One of the few I've kept with is MyPoints. I don't make cash with it, but I've gotten a few hundred dollars worth of gift cards for gas, restaurants that I like, and even Walmart. I'm pretty sure that you have to have a US address though, for that one.

I hope you continue to take things one step at a time. I can't wait to see where you are this time next year.

Blessings,
Angie
