Hi Akiko,
I'm pretty sure to get the free website you have to pay for the year in advance hosting. It's a good deal if you know what you are doing and how to build a good website that is built according to all the right site building principles. If you don't do it right, you are just going to end up with a site that is sitting out there in cyber space that no one is visiting.
I had no idea how to 'do it right' when I first started, so that kind of a deal wasn't going to do me any real good. I ended up finding SiteBuildIt (SBI) which is a complete website building system. It takes you through the whole process step by step with all the tools, training, hosting, etc. so that you are sure to build a site that ranks well and gets lots of free visitors from the search engines.
It costs more, though. SBI is $299 per year. It includes just about everything, but it has to be paid in advance, too. It's well worth it if you are serious about building a web business though. I actually have three SBI sites now because I discovered it was more than worth the investment.
They are running a special at the moment. If you purchase one SBI package for $299 you get a second one for $100. The first one is activated immediately, and the second one can be left for up to 9 months before you have to activate it and start the 'clock' running.
I bought my second and third site during this same special last year. It's going to keep me busy for a while now, juggling three sites!

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know about that option. I know there are plenty of people like me who find the whole website building process like learning a foreign language. I couldn't have done any good even if someone had given me a free site and free hosting. Knowing what to do and how to do it is vital. That's the beauty of SBI.
Hope that helps a little.
Blessings,
Angie
