I am signed up with commission junction and clickbank. I go there and find products that I think will sell, make a lens promoting the product and put my affiliate links on there. The affiliate links will redirect the person to the website through my unique id. When they buy something, I get a commission (clickbank has the bigger commissions). An example is my http://www.squidoo.com/webvideomadeeasy/ , the commission on this one is $66.54.

Thank you! I actually have already visited this website from another "user" and ended up buying a product that caught my eye. I did have a question regarding the companies & stores on the site that maybe you might know. Do they offer affiliate programs to join so that you can also earn money while you shop or when others shop on your mall? Example, I ordered a product on this "mall" that was owned by "celle" so she gets the rebate from my purchase. So if others click in to her mall and she is an affiliate of that store in the mall.......is there monies to be made that way as well? To me.....the program is great for personal discounts on purchases but the big bucks seem to be on tiers like MLM. At least with affiliates, it is more direct from each sale and not depending on downline building. If I figured it out wrong about "powermall", please correct me! I welcome all inputs and suggestions since I am on a crash course study mission to make this work for me now and forever. I just want to really understand as much as possible in the next few days since I am on a timeline crunch to circulate funds.Thanks!

I have another question for anyone that will answer......what does the ranking of "Boarders" really signify? I understand "fresh" being newbees. What do you do to earn rank? Is it based on the amount of posts or the experience as a marketer online? Can anyone clear for me the "admin" position? are these titles of people that work with Holly directly to help us out as "users"? This is all new to me and I am truly "anul" when it comes to things! You are right! Your number of posts earn you rank. And yes, an admin is a person that works directly with Holly to help us. For example, Davin is a moderator here and he also can take down any spam that we get and some technical things like that. Hope this helps.

And, you are right about the mall question. Your bigger money will be in the tiers. You want to get people to sign up under you.

I am a new, newbie. I was just thinking of taking Holly's offer to have her set up my first website. I understand that I will have to commit to paying BlueHost for one year. It says, $6.95-$8.95/month. That is doable for me but do I have to pay it all at once or can I do the month to month? I was a bit confused by your post. Sounds like you are happy with the results that Holly created. Do you think it is a good first step?
