Hello Newbie Here 2008/10/20 05:34
Hello everyone just here to introduce myself and mainly achieve more knowledge. I'm new to online home based businesses but have found a successful free program that's honest and genuine. http://www.z2rsystem.com/

Most of the programs I've seen you've to sell something, do cold calling, MLM and that's just not me. This site was automated for me and you recieve training. Can't beat that for free but since I'm new to the internet craze. I'm unsure of how to get traffic to my site. If anyone has any ideas I"m open to them. Thanks.

Hi zero,

Welcome to the forum. I took a look at the link provided. How is it that you make money with Zero2riches? If you're not selling anything, why is there money involved?

You mentioned that they provide training. Aren't they training you how to get traffic? It doesn't really sound like something worthwhile to promote.

All online marketing involves some type of selling. You don't necessarily have to handle products or provide services yourself, but you are selling/promoting for someone who does. That's the whole premise, anyway.

The best way to get traffic to a site is to provide good quality content that encourages the search engines to send you free traffic based on what surfers are searching for.

The type of site you've got there is never going to get that kind of traffic because it is not a unique site - I suppose everyone who signs up gets their own version of that site. That means your only option (if you are determined to promote it) is to DRIVE traffic to the site.

The best way to do that would be to write informative articles about the benefits of the program and link to it in hopes of people wanting to know more.

You can sign up for Traffic Exchange sites like Traffic Swarm, but that's what everyone does. It's kind of a huge cross marketing type thing where everyone is clicking on other people's sites so that people will click on theirs. I've never found that to be of any benefit, but some people swear it helps them. Maybe it depends on your niche.

You can build a squidoo lens about online marketing, etc., and place links to your site there. You can also post in work at home forums like you are doing, but you need to leave your link in your signature file because most forums will delete it otherwise. You really need to learn more about online marketing so that you can contribute to the forum and build up some credibility before people will consider what you recommend.

I don't mean to sound discouraging, but internet marketing is NOT as free and easy as some people try to make it sound. It takes a lot of time and effort, but it is very rewarding and fun when you get the hang of it. It can also be very profitable.

I wish you the best. Hang around and read through the forum. You'll learn a lot that way, and you can take advantage of some of the free resources and ebooks that different members recommend. It will help you get a better understanding of things so you can speak with more confidence when you do promote.

Blessings,
Angie
