MyDD + Clickbank, how does it work 2007/02/28 05:23
Hi everyone,

I wrote an eBook and have set up a website with MyDD, the autoresponder program that Holly suggests, so when people go to my website and click on the "buy" button, they get sent to Pay Pal, then when the payment is processed they automatically recieve an email from MyDD with the download link.

All fine and dandy.

I now want to list my eBook on Clickbank and PayDotCom, but when I went to their websites they said that I design a web page with THIER "buy" button, which takes them to a payment process through Clickbank/PayDotCom.

So my question is, do I need a seperate website for 1)direct purchasing through my website which is configured with MyDD, 2)one just for Clickbank and 3)one just for PayDotCom?

If I have to have 3 seperate websites, doesn't that mean I have to buy MyDD 3 times and register it for each website, because that adds up to alot of money. And if you have to use Clickbank's and PayDotCom's "buy" buttons, then how do you get your autoresponder program to work? Will it still read your pay pal account and send automated messages after each payment, or do autoresponder programs only work when someone clicks on their "buy" button?

Hope that all makes sense. What I'm dreaming about is one website where I can direct my clickbank, paydotcom, and everyday customers that I generate myself. Or is that just too greedy

Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Kindest regards,
Renee.

Hello Renee;
My suggestion would be to consider DLGuard for your product protection instead of MyDD, since you wish to use different payment processors. The developer of this product is an upstanding individual, and I'm certain he would address any of your concerns prior to any purchase. Plus, the support is excellent.

MyDD is not as fully featured as DLGuard, and may not do everything you want it to do.

Take a look at DLGuard - http://www.dlguard.com

Please let me know if I can help further.
