keword elite Vs Word tracker Vs Seo Elite 2006/11/06 21:13
Hi,

For last one year I have used keyword Elite for myself, but now Brad callens have taken out SEO elite (I tried its trial version, It was good).

Holly Mann suggest to use the word tracker.

Totally confused

1) I have keyword Elite want to learn to use it but....

2) I can buy SEO elite or word tracker

3) then other software in a market is Site tracker

Which is a better option.

Regards

Hi,
Every major (successful) internet marketer I have spoken with or read about has Recommended WORDTRACKER. My brother who works at a big SEO firm swears by it, as their company only uses that. I love wordtracker and it has been really useful for me (more than SEO ELITE) but SEO elite has other features which can save you time and help you conduct research. Wordtracker can be used to find the niche. Then I personally use SEO elite to unravel my competing website's methods and their linking strategies. It is not necessary to use software to do that (You can just check out their sites and backlinks) but it saves me time. If I had the money to only get one - I would go with WORDTRACKER any day.
PS- the main feature I really like about seo elite is that you can see all the high pr links your competing websites are linking to, then their site email addresses are captured so you can send an email to all of them asking to be link partners

Thanks Holly,

the information was really useful.
Can I ask one more question,

I was reading SEO made easy and there Brad callens said "Do not register yourself with any of the search engine, I have a question what could be the reason for this [I know it will take 6 days but this cannot be a reason for not submitting one's URL]

I have registered myself with craiglist, forum search etc. and was going to submit some of Urls to add Google before SEO made easy stopped me.

Thanks for the answer

Hi,

What if I use keyword tracker [need reviews, free software I saw it at DP ] and then take word tracker for a day or so to fine tune the websites [money matters].

You said 'linking strategies' can you elaborate, what are the strategies which you have found?

Your website has been optimized, but I saw some of the links [you refer] do not have high PR, it helps you or go against?

Read Aaron Wall's (SEO Book) review of SEO Elite. Basically, he says he used to recommend it but no longer does because Google now looks at age of website and number of visitors. Most people use Word tracker or a combination of Wordtracker and others.

Hi Quark,
What are you referring to that takes 6 days??? And, in the past (before learning more about SEO) i also used to submit my sites to the search engines manually through addurl or some other express add url services online that are free. But, I learned that it thought to be much more beneficial to your site if you have another site link to it (and when that other site is already established and being crawled by search engines regularly, then that will lead the search engines to your site) and it is much better to get it indexed that way. often it takes 4-6 weeks to get the site indexed and to get a high ranking (or much longer) - just depends. It usually takes me six weeks, then I see the site in top ranking if I did the SEO correctly, then it often drops off google completely for a few days, reappears and then stays there.
