Anyone ever use oscommerce? 2007/04/15 00:41
I'm trying to install this on a subdomain to start a web store but I'm having problems. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it, or knows something better.

yeah i have a couple of subdomains happening. I know on my server I have to type in access like this.

http://www.davinatorbiz.com/whatever subdomain is

Now that's what has to be typed into access it on the web

But for FTP purposes, it is

http://subdomain.davinatorbiz.com

I would check with your paths to the domain folder. You might check with your host for this.

Hope it helps

I should have been more specific. The problem I'm having is with the oscommerce files, not the upload process. I have already set up a website on another subdomain in order to learn about that. The problem here is that after I upload the files for this program I cannot access it. I really don't know why, so that's why I'm looking for someone who knows something about this particular program. There is a forum on the oscommerce site, but no one has gotten back to me yet there. This is an ecommerce program for setting up a web store, if anyone knows another, better one please let me know!!!! And thanks for the reply anyway.

Hey Chata if you're still looking round for answers on this one let me know. I'll need some more specifics but I've got the same thing with my hosting service. Maybe I can offer up some help.
