I am just curious if any forum members have purchased the Mike Cheney videos on Adsense, and if they thought it made a big difference in adsense "clicks". I am trying to drive up adsense revenue but the $97 for the videos seem a little steep. Any thoughts out there?

While I don't have Michaels Adsense videos, "I'm not really much into Adsense myself, more into affiliate marketing", I will say this about Michael Cheney's products.

Any product of Michaels that I have got in the past are always top-notch. Michael knows his stuff incredibly well and I also love his newsletter!

I knew nothing of Google Adsense until I stumbled across his site and subscribed to free info on about a weekly basis.

He showed in his video that he as earning about $500 US a day from Google Adsense.

Not easy though. I have added Google Adsense to both of my websites and see that it is a matter of getting alot of people to visit your site and if you provide alot of good info and website visitors are happy then they will likely not click the ads. Some sites show limited info and then show the ads thinking people are more likely to click on them. Likely works.


More sites, more content, better Google searh placemenet, more visitors, more money earned.

Not easy Brad and within about a year I am earning about 40% of what my pension will be in 2 yr time after working for 30 years and contributing to the Gov't Pension Plan.

So my overall opinion and advice re: google adsense is the following:

- max out the ads on your site.. blend ads in to page color scheme
- kept on adding content if you can
- and add new websites and cross link them

In another 1 1/2 yr I will likely be earning more from Google Adsense then from my Government Pensions and these Google earnings are not taxable.

Be patient.

More content and more visitors will earn more money from services you are offering and also from Google Adsense.

As to buying his video's or any books there is enough info on the net for free. Michael basically says add content, try different positioning and colors and that is nothing new or innovative.

So pocket your money and add Google Adsense to your site and give it a try. Put the largest ads at the top of the content page (square or rectangular.. 2-3 and next choice is long vertical ads in left column.

Simply select the size of ad, select the color scheme that works best and copy and paste the code that they generate for you.

You ask them for cheques whenever you want and acct has over $100 US. I ask for cheques 3 x a year as bank here charges a fee for cashing each cheque.

I did learn a few things from Michael Cheyney's Adsense Videos - but for the main things about Adsense you learn from them, I could probably show you in about 5 minutes! Good information, though!

I have a blog making $50 to $100 a month on Adsense but I have also read that Adsense won't always be the same ... there are problems with click fraud and new programs such as Pay Per Play might wind up being a lot more profitable.

When I look at the ratio of visits vrs income, I make a lot more with my site that does affiliate sales - about 14 times as much, in one comparison I made.
