Niche Website Ideas to Think About Print E-mail

One of the hurdles which many people struggle to overcome online is finding an idea or niche to create a website about or to promote through non-website related methods. Sometimes it is just a lack of understanding how to do the research to find the niche. Sometimes it is due to confusion or laziness! Unfortunately, I believe that many people stop their efforts in making a living online when they get stumped. Do NOT be one of those people. Do not allow yourself to become overwhelmed and give up.

There are so many differnet ideas and options for you when deciding on creating a website or to promote a product. If you are like many people, you may just want to choose a topic which is most profitable and timely. Some other people would prefer it to be a topic of interest. Either way, there are so many options out there. The first and most important step is RESEARCH!!! I personally use Wordtracker to conduct all of my niche and website-related research in order to find the best keywords and keyphrases for my website. All other internet marketers I know who are making money online attribute much of their success to this one tool. Many other internet marketers (including myself) state that if there was only one tool that could be used in conducting research online that it would be Wordtracker. It is a goldmine.

Without me doing any research at all, I want to illustrate some examples of niche website ideas which could be profitable. Every day, people go to Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, etc. and they search for city-specific items, services, businesses, etc. Here are some examples of searches which might be conducted on a daily basis:

-mortgage lender West Allis, WI

-mortgage lender Milwaukee, WI

-mortgage lender Green Bay, WI

-state parks Michigan

-"Small town name" State

-"City Name" State

-hair replacement "City Name"

-hair loss treatment "City Name"

..and so forth with so many combinations of different searches corresponding with specific cities. You can go to: http://www.usacitylink.com/ to view a list of every state and all of the cities in that state. You can check to see if each city has a website and you could create an informational site (with Google Ads and possible ad space for purchase and other affiliate program links or anything else you want to promote) and create a website about that niche. Optimize it according to the steps I detail in my ebook and you should be making some money!

Please note that these are just examples to get you thinking and to give you ideas. Before creating any website, make sure you conduct thorough research online with search engines, wordtracker and other tools of your choosing. Good luck.

Message to the Rich Jerk! Print E-mail

I received an email from Mike Filsaime this morning, which was extremely interesting. Here are a few important points I took from it:

HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ONLINE?
0 - 6 months = 41% +
5 Years or more = 11%

He said the reason he believes so few people can sustain working online through Internet Marketing is because they are lacking one or more of these qualities:

- A Burning Desire
- A Vision.
