I had been watching my in box for special requests for proxification to no avail.
As I am getting other requests for my body (the first one was for taxidermification) I will have to close my offer at 15:00 BST today after which time my diary will go to auto fill.

PPS Talking of pay... in the heading Competitions it says Cash and Other Great Prizes To Be Won Here. So do you think that CASH would encourage more to take part in the competitions and also to avoid winners from having more than they can hold of the same prize?

PPPS A special word of gratitude for the organizers. I have been around t'internet for quite along time and this site is by far the best I have ever come across or been invited to. Keep up the good work folks.

Talking of inspirations..

What if.... We used the skills of producing these adword ads and we put a series of them on some of our web sites?

Here is my thinking....

If the site needs to be without any distractions we would not use them but if we wanted to ensure the prospect buys from us we do the following.

We build the page so that on the right hand side it looks like it has a list of adwords but they are just mock adwords, what they actually are is links to other products that we have up for grabs. If we make them so that they appeal to people in our target market then when they click on them it will take them to a similar product that we have.

When they arrive at the new site it in turn does the same so some may even click back to our first site and we have a second bite of the cherry. All the sites that we choose to use would have this cyclic effect so when they think they are going to someone else's site they actually come back to one of ours. Giving us added opportunity to convert a prospect into a paying customer.

In the real adword world the person clicking on an adword would usually be taken to some site that we don't own. People are used to seeing these adword so it will not be a shock for them to see them on the page.

What do you guys and gals think? Has anyone tried or tested this already?
My fee is 2% of any increase in profit that the campaign makes.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone involved in these competitions. It's not so much the prizes as the amount of stuff I am learning from taking part. It's also helping me to gain a bit more confidence too. I can't believe I made it into the top ten!

There is nothing preventing you from adding ads to your site that link to another one of your sites or to an EMMC or CBA product.
Making them look like Adwords is relatively simple;use a smaller font.
Just keep them at distance from Google ads or they will be seen as deceptive.

Why not have a competition for ideas?
The best ideas win prizes and the best improvements to the ideas win prizes.
The ideas would be on or about any marketing method eg
List building,
video production
audio jingles how to use social networking etc etc
How to surf the net for new ideas
Make suggestions and put them into a thread of their own so that we could pick one and try it test it and produce a report about it. Pick one per month.

Produce a best 5, 10, 20 tools for marketers list or produce a flow chart type easy step by step method of doing anything markety. etc etc

Design a badge that asks for peoples e-mail address for use off line
Design a badge that directs them to this site etc etc

Produce a 2 minute video and up load it to you tube
could be about any subject that you like or perhaps a product
review of one of our own products or one of Kevin's or Paul's etc

Send me money (this is the best idea I can come up with)

Suggest a caption for one of the Joker's images etc.

We have seen the effect of what a volcano burping can do so how would our marketing be affected if we had a total power cut and all fuel for vehicles was inaccessible. What would be our strategy?

And lots of other ideas too numerous to mention

Any way I remember Almond Moreon saying he made lots more money once he stopped posting on forums so maybe that's a lesson for me!

Hi Guys,

I like the idea of a short video and the CBA could get massive exposure from this so it would need to be a better prize than April's comp.

If you tie it into You Tube Tsunami then we could be onto something.

Anyone who participates would need to install Google Analytics to show proof of views (This promotes action and a learning curve for all)

The shortlist is made up of only people who can show proof of their video reaching page 1 of Google

And then the winner is picked by another guest judge.

THE PRIZE

A day spent with Kevin and Paul where the winner gets to grill (Video Interview) them and then this is turned into a product for the winner and is promoted to Kevin and Pauls lists

How about a competition to bring about a true mastermind group?

A concept is put forward in the first few days by all entrants...then a brainstorming session where ways of implementing the concept are suggested....then the best suggestions voted on and then put into action by the people who are best suited to the tasks involved.

The prizes could go to those who come up with the best suggestions and those that put them into action...orrrrrrrrr

How about a piece of software that gives a monthly quiz perhaps a random question generator of multiple choice questions whereby those that take part get to know the answers at the end of the month so they learn as they go?

Just wanted to say a huge big thank you to you all for the congratulation messages. Succeed 2010 is absolutely brilliant and I am well on my way to implementing what I have already learned from Kevin and His team.
