Thank you.I suppose the other attempt earlier would be considered a Landing Page and actually puting a Squeeze Page here proved hard.
Reed Howey wrote a Landing Page or a Squeeze page in this thread but I cannot see it.The forum e-mail shows it fine.It is an excellent example also .

Bill, I put up the squeeze page but didn't like the way it was displaying so took it down again. I have some tweaking to do but should have it ready tomorrow.

Anyone had any news on the voting mechanism for this competition?

I think Mihira must have been playing with the script because yesterday the ThankYou icon also brought me to the UserCP page .Anonymous voting might have less glitches than the 'thread'voting system had.We will see soon.

I am going to keep your original Landing page in my mail box and compare it [for my own interest only] to the finished product.

To get good articles out you need to have 2 things:

1. A well written article to start with, (Garbage in garbage out, or you can't polish a turd).
2. Select only the appropriate synonyms for those words you wish to change

Since the poll is up, I believe we cannot accept any more answer posts right ?

When we had the poll for Thread of the Month there did not appear yo be a limit to the number of threads nominated, only that the leaderboard was limited to the top 5. I know from reading elsewhere on the forum that the TOTM polls had some technical problem associated with them. Could a similar polling mechanism be imp;emented here?

Failing that, and I realise that this is a more manual process, could one of the Administrators add each new competition entry from this thread into the poll. This could be acheived by the Administrators scanning the thread for new competition entries or by anyone who wanted to add an entry sending a Private Message to a designated admin account requesting a polling button for their post?

Maybe members can simply use the 'Thanks' button as a vote? :r

Hi Kevin-

I was on your site trying to get more info re. your product: "Magical Article Submtter" The concept makes total sense but I do have a couple questions:

a) Will Google, Yahoo other SE's view this method as SPAM? The reason I ask is that I was reading online (not this forum) about a similar product/s whereby multiple articles (even orginal content) when submitted providing same URL track back (i.e., respective IM's web site), then in the eyes of the SEs-such article submittal software is considered SPAMMING the article directories

Seriously, if you're pressed for time make yourself a swipe file about the Magic Article Creator put together a 500 word article on it post it here.

Then wait for the votes and see what position you end up in.

So far only 4 people have made an entry so there is still room for another 46 people to enter and win (45 people as Bill has 2 entries)

Maybe I should use Magical Article Creator to make a thousand new articles from my original entry and post them all on here (Not sure whether that would be considered as spamming or showing my confidence in the product)
