This is a great contest! Now all I have to do is figure out how to create a banner! HA!

Not being a desinger or having the software, I easily did mine using Microsoft word and then copy and pasting it into Paint and saving it as a GIF file.

It was surprisingly easy!

I am always happy to share. If it helps more people participate in the competition all the better. For many taking the first step in participating is paramount to taking the first step to success. That service allows you to create fairly decent graphics without having to go through the learning curve of software and people who do not have, or care to have, those skills can use it in their sales letters, blogs and websites to make nice graphics they can be proud of.

I am surprised that more people have not submitted their attempts yet as the prizes are so good. (Kevin did not ask me to say that, honest).

Thanks too for all the encouragement I have received from you guys and gals.
If I can do it anyone can. My blog's title has a bearing on my attitude to competitions namely that even if you attempt something and fail to win a prize you still gain much from the experience.

Just for trying I have learnt about web browsers, how to edit pictures, how to upload download and very soon I will be into putting web sites together hosting finding out what cpanel is etc

Just getting familiar with the terminology takes time and especially when a lot of abbreviations are used for many things e.g. FTP rss slr. One of my next goals is mastering ftp ing

I aso find it surprising that so few people have submitted entries, yet. So come on everyone and send in your entry.

While on the subject of entries I would suggest that each member who enters includes a link in a post in this thread to both their banner and to their Blog. Those of you who have already submitted entries but haven't yet done this might like to do this. As you will not be able to edit your post you could just quote the post you made earlier and add something like. Heres the links to my Blog entry and here's the one to my banner.
