Hi all

Right i ripped down my domain, im shutting what i cant be bothered with and trying to focus as much as i can this year, and with that came down my personal domain.

Can i get some feedback on it. I'm trying to make the domain a two way system, e.g link backs to your own sites, gravatar pics, free gifts for posting, and free downloads.

Myself i think its good, but thats not the opinion i want, i've been arguing the past two days with me, myself and I. Over 70 themes i tried till i found the one i liked, so willing to work with that.

Your site looks very clean and neat.......I do not like the "changing" header....it distracts...

The inner pages are good.....

Hi Jim

Yeah the header was a yes or no thing, Its actually live products and can be clicked on. When i sort my own offers and gifts out then i can add mine to that, with the right size images as well.

Maybe a static header with the moving goodies "smaller" below...
And a description of what your site provides just below that....about 250 words with keywords for the engine spiders...then must have some spider food....

Hi Jim

Do you know what, defining myself has been the hardest part so far, under the banner, it has my name just below that is the space for my welcome text, i'm pushing myself away from what i have been doing

"Jack of all trades"

and focusing on what i am good at and what i can offer. My lack of confidence was a big thing, but i did some videos last week going through what i do, and the comments were awesome, it turns out i actually know a thing or two, the joys of wanting to do it all myself i guess lol, but yes i do agree with you about the description, the template is a new one so still trying to work it out, especially that banner at the top.

When you build a new "baby" it is some times hard to see it through other eyes..

no one has the answer to the magic site or we would all be rolling in gold...
I m always hesitant to review sites...but try to add positive comments...I m here to help and pass on some of the things hat I have learned in the past 10 years..

Jim bob, very professional site and i agree with Jim on the header and also the images are slightly distourted which devalues what you've got there buddy

Damn i'm quick, i said that would be todays job, and its done, guess i should work on the "what the site is about " now, i deliberately made two images Download Here in a different position, the text, because its such a smooth transition i actually don't notice the banners rotate, but with that text just different i catch it.

I like this forum a lot its one where you can genuinely get help from others, get help in return, and really get something out of it. I know in this forum we haven't fully absorbed everyones abilities but through time and trust with the people on here i'm positive many a good alliance will be built up. Myself personally i dont have the time or the patience to run a forum so im working this forum into my emails, delavo, posts, when i make a post on my blog, it get syndicated through another 20 or so other sites using the ping.fm as well, ive also noticed a few sites scraping me so its getting out there the more content i put on my site.

I also find this forum excellent for research, watching the people come into the site, seeing what they are asking questions about, reading other peoples replies, following their resources the offer up, so instead of sitting with a blank canvas and wondering what i should do, its giving me food for thought.

I had a look at your site and was immediately smacked with a large graphic telling me to download something. On the right was a video I could click on.

Below that were some posts I could click on.

Scrolling down further were more links, graphics, etc.

After looking at the whole page, I have no idea who you are, no idea what the site is about (other than you want me to download something), and no idea why I should bother clicking on anything.

Some sort of header of brief into could address these points.

yeah the about me is at the top ive not done that yet, thats this weekends job to get sorted. The main header at the moment i blanked out so i could get it done properly.
