I found this website and seem to use it constantly...here's what the site says in part... "So, we created the Shrink Pictures tools that are no more difficult than posting in a Forum and now anyone can Resize Images and Digital Pictures. "
the site is called Shrinkpictures (dot) com Another free site.

Thanks for that useful link Bob.
Irfanview is also a great free program to reduce the size of photos, as well as a host of other image manipulation tasks. You can easily reduce hundreds of photos to a size suitable for emailing or posting to web. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. is my favourite image management program. You can select a range of full size photos, and it will email them after reducing the size automatically. It also tracks images in photos, so you can specify a persons name, and see all the photos in which that person appears. You can also upload photos to a free web album and share them, which is much better than emailing photos to a lot of people. regards, Eric G.

Personally I just have to ask, who needs this as an online web app, when any computer has at least Paint or something similar, that can do way more just as easily? Was this really a 'problem' to solve? I mean sure if you don't know anything about Windows or computers it might be easy to hit an 'upload picture' button and play around, but if you are into marketing or whatever online, then I am sure you have a better idea of what you are doing, and if you are uploading your picture to FaceBook or somewhere why wouldn't you use that site's built in uploader, which I am sure has either resize or crop features?
I just don't really see the point. Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree. |

Hey JC...
Not everybody who is an Internet Marketer is blessed with the technical savvy, or inclined to spend extra time fiddling around with Paint or any other graphics program, when, on-the-fly tasks like resizing a simple picture can be done with 3 clicks of a mouse. After all, time is money. Maybe not for everybody, but for those of us who find it saves time, it's a cool thing to use. Make it a great day, Bob K

Do those three clicks include uploading the picture and then downloading the resized pic? If you have a slow connection and/or a large graphic that can take as much time as opening paint and resizing.
