I think it's better for the annotation to be at the bottom left of the screen. That way the speech bubble pointer thing pretty much points to your link if it's at the beginning of the description.

This position for the annotation also means you can shorten the text to 'click on the link below' rather that 'visit the link in the description'. The less they have to read the better.
