Plus we always teach our kids "if at first you dont succeed try and try again" and "never ever give up" and now our 3 year old repeats them to herself or us whenever she is trying something new or tricky.

You need to keep going otherwise how do you know you havent given up just as success is around the corner

One of my favourite quotes, although I am not sure where it comes from is

"Life is a Journey, not a destination" because to me that can be applied to any area of your life including internet marketing. If you only see the end goal and rush to get to it (destination) you will be taking your journey in leaps and bounds rather than step by step and then you are more likely to give up. In my eyes, you should enjoy each moment, learn from each mistake we make and this makes us stronger, happier and more successful.
