Success = Preparation + Meeting Opportunities.

That's the formula I have been applying to my life.

It looks simple but that's how all real self-made success came from.

First, you can spend your time reading ebooks, watching video training, and reading forums, but that's fine until you apply it. I call this "information overload" as preparation without finding an opportunity yet.

Next, you need to take action by seeking the right opportunity. Of course, how do you know what's a good opportunity or not? That's where the first point plays a major role. For example, suppose you spend all those time reading traffic generation ebooks and getting nowhere with it. All of a sudden a new product/system comes out to help boost your website traffic based on using untapped link building techniques. You decided to invest in it and apply the techniques and profit.

That's how preparation meets an opportunity. You wouldn't likely purchase the system if you didn't real other information about it. It was not by chance, but by a deliberation choice based on prior insights.

Once again, Success = Preparation + Meeting Opportunities.

How about an offline real-world example? Let's say there's a winning lottery scratch lying on the street. Would a dog cash it in? No, the dog did not have the preparation/knowledge. Would a little kid cash it in? Again no, since the kid do not have such concept yet. What about an adult who has been the lottery before? Yes, the adult has knowledge/preparation about the value of the lottery ticket.

Success is not luck, but based on taking action based on prior knowledge.

It's not enough to say.."Take action!" but taking guided action...

I totally agreed with you. For the last two years I have been searching for information on how to make money online. I can say that I am still at the learning stage but slowly going on to next where now I am looking for the right niche as what you say the right opportunity to go into. Very excited...

Also you can add perseverance onto that list as most people tend to give up after a couple of failures but that's what seperate the guru's from the rest as the guru's never give up.

I 100% aggree with you on this one Kevin, I would say that 99% of the time online ventures do not succeed because we give up, I spent years in this mind set and every thing I tried failed. Not because the ideas were bad but because I didn't follow them through and at least give them a fair chance.
I now have a formula that actualy works and brings me in an income, I could have easily given up, in the early stages, and not found out that it works for me.

with them but I keep going and do not give up. I know that I will do well online because I am so passionate about internet marketing and all the opportunities it can present.

You need to have a very deep reason, motivation for you to keep going no matter what..Just think of the effort, money and time you have given for you to go home empty handed?
