That wouldn't even phase me.A 2X4 might.Besides,it was just an observation.I try not to take attitudes.I'll watch the Perry Marshall video anyways ,in case I do need an attitude adjustment. There I go sounding arrogant again.

I am not sure about Donn wanting to give you a slap though, that is a bit mean! He reminds me of my friend, if someone is feeling down she normally says 'If I gave you a couple of slaps will that help!'?

Every article I see by Jay I read.I just figured it was relevant to other comments in this thread but others didn't see it that way.That's alright.Most of my threads have not been seen,nor are as interesting as yours.
After a few other brief comments that some did not read between the lines I may have to resort to my essay writing skills from days gone by and just make them shorter ,to be articles and follow your footsteps and the advice given by Jay and that book you like so much.

Maria, where I grew up, it was common practice when a friend got out of line, we'd knock him on the head and then down a few, well perhaps a bit more than a few, beers and everything would be ok. Hence the saying "an attitude adjustment right up side the head". Simple, yet effective.

Works every time.

You should laugh, you know I am pulling you're virtual leg. Gotcha! Sort of.

I grew up in the mountains, about 2,000 meters elevation. My high school (secondary school grades 8-12) had aprox 800 students total. Our school district covered 5,000 square miles. We had one Constable to cover the same area. He had one wooden leg and a 20 year old Volvo that I could have outrun with a bicycle.

I have not had the good fortune to visit the UK yet, though it is on my list. I would suspect that 5,000 square miles would cover a good portion of England.

The snow at my house would get up to 7 meters deep and stay that way for months.

Any wonder that such a place would produce highly independent and confident offspring?

Dear God, I didn't grow up in Oklahoma and I am certainly not an "Okie". I grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. Half way between Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. In other words, some of the most beautiful country on Earth.

I wouldn't give the whole State of Oklahoma for one square foot of where I grew up. Long story about why I am here, even for me.

OOOps! hit a sore spot.Now I've seen pictures of snow in OK but that much snow in California ,even in the mountains rivals the Alps of Austria,where I grew up,at least until I came to Canada.

As far as I'm concerned, the Government gave Oklahoma to the Indians because they thought it was worthless. They didn't know it was sitting on a huge pool of oil and natural gas, which is how I wound up here.

There are many forums about IM. But only one where we can be ourselves, share a laugh or a cry, and help each other on the journey.
